Installing a dryer tips and cautions....

Installation don'ts....

- Don't use plastic vents

- Don't crush the vent under the dryer

- Don't use screws on the venting joints

- Don't allow the airflow to become blocked

- Don't allow birds or other critters to nest in the vent system

Installation do's....

- Do use rigid or flexible metal vents

- Do tape or clamp venting joints

- Do use short and straight vents

- Do periodically check the outside vent cap to assure the air is flowing

- Do clean the lint filter after each drying cycle

- Do install the dryer as per local installation codes
