Disconnect electrical power supply to disposer.

If necessary to gain access to the switch, remove the disposer from the mounting.

Remove screw securing switch cover, remove the switch cover.

Remove wire nuts connecting throat switch wires to disposer lead wires.

Unscrew threaded switch housing ( counterclockwise ) and remove.

Clean internal switch housing threads in body container.

Screw new switch housing into container body until snug. ( do not over tighten ) Turn the switch counterclockwise to horizontal position.

Attach flag terminal to switch leads.

Snap micro-switch into switch housing on disposer, aligning micro-switch with switch plunger.

Attach switch lead wires to disposer lead wires with wire nuts.

Tuck wires into new switch cover and attach switch cover to container body with new screw.

Reconnect power and test.

Repeat steps 1 - 4 is stopper doesn't activate the switch on and off.
