JennAir Dishwasher Constantly Draining and Refilling

Reference Models: JDB9800CWP2

Problem: Unit fills with water, drains and refills constantly without completing a cycle. Control board and float switch replaced but issue persists and unit continues to throw a fill error code.

Diagnosis:

Refer to the model's tech sheet, it will be inside the dishwasher. Run through the listed diagnostics to calibrate the control board with the dishwasher's other components and ensure the fill switch connections on the control board are OK. Check the thermistor resistance inside the OWI sensor and that the check valve flapper is intact in the drain line. If this does not fix the issue, reference the unit's fill error code with the multiple ones listed in the tech sheet.
