The error code explanations shown below can help you diagnose a problem with your Kenmore Elite Oasis dryer.

AF or F-30 Exhaust air flow restriction The exhaust air flow to the outside of your home is restricted. Unplug the dryer and clear the exhaust air duct system going to the outside of your home
PF Power failure A power failure occurred while the dryer was running. Press Start to continue the cycle or press Stop to clear the display. If this code frequently appears, check the power cord and replace it if it's damaged Power cord
F-01 Main electronic control board failure Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes and the plug the dryer back in. If the code reappears, replace the main electronic control board Main electronic control board

F-22 Exhaust thermistor failure Unplug the dryer. Check the resistance of the exhaust thermistor (temperature sensor). It should measure about 10,000 ohms at room temperature. If the thermistor is defective, replace it Thermistor
F-23 Exhaust thermistor failure Unplug the dryer. Check the resistance of the exhaust thermistor. It should measure about 10,000 ohms at room temperature. If the thermistor is defective, replace it Thermistor
F-24 or F-25 Inlet thermistor failure Unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board and the inlet thermistor. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. If wire connections are okay, measure the resistance through the inlet thermistor. You should measure near 50,000 ohms at room temperature. F-26 Drive motor failure Unplug the dryer. Check the wiring connections between the main electronic control board and the drive motor. If the wiring connections are sound, replace the drive motor Drive motor

F-31 Low L2 voltage The L2 leg of 240 volt power is below 30 volts. Check the house circuit breakers for the dryer and reset the L2 breaker if it's tripped. Unplug the dryer and check the power cord wire connections on the terminal block. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the power cord if it's damaged. Have an electrician check the 240 volt power supply for the dryer Power cord
F-40 Communication error between the main electronic control board and the blower motor control board Unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the blower motor control board and the main electronic control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. A blown thermal fuse will prevent the blower motor control board from getting power, triggering the F-40 code. Check the resistance of the thermal fuse. Replace the thermal fuse if you measure infinite resistance through the fuse. F-44 Blower motor control board failure Unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the blower motor control board and the main electronic control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. A blown thermal fuse will prevent the blower motor control board from getting power, triggering the F-44 code. Check the resistance of the thermal fuse. Replace the thermal fuse if you measure infinite resistance through the fuse. Check the wire harness connections between the blower motor and the blower motor control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged.
