Whirlpool Microwave Overheating

Reference Model: WMH53520CS-0

Problem: Microwave overheating after 2 or 3 minutes of running.

Diagnosis: The thermal cut off mounted to the magnetron may be breaking the circuit. If this is the case, one of the following issues may be the cause for malfunction:

- The magnetron cooling fan is running slowly or not at all

- The exhaust vent or magnetron cooling fan opening is blocked

- The magnetron is running hot and needs replacement

- The magnetron thermal cut off is faulty
